Hi,

We are staying in a Disney hotel very soon and want to visit Seaworld. The problem is we don't have a rental car. Could someone please let me know the best way to get there and back?

Thanks

Disney bus to MK
Monorail to TTC
Lynx Route 50 bus to SeaWorld, be SURE to tell the driver in advance you want to exit there. It's an official stop, but only by request. See golynx.com

You can also call Mears the night before you want to go. They will give you pick up times at your resort, you select a time. They pick you up in the front of the resort. Return, just call 1 1/2 to 2 hours before you want to leave. They give you the departure times, let them know which return you want and just go to the cab area and the shuttles are there. Depending on the amount of people, they pick you up in either a van or the coach bus. $1 round trip pp. Pick ups to and from are every hour. Do this all the time to SeaWorld and Universal and never had a problem.

You can also get a cab at your resort.

YES, there's a missing digit!!! It's the 9!! NINETEEN dollers - $ 1 9! $19! Not $1!!! Good catch, joelkfla!

It's $18 per person rountrip from Disney Resort to Seaworld,Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Universal Studios.

When we were walking out of seaworld in June, there was a Mears van sitting in the lot by the bus stop we were told to wait at. We walked up to it, and he said he'd take us back to Disney-it wasn't even our time yet!! We just handed him teh return ticket and off we went!

The Lynx is $4.00 per person exact change. Very easy!!!

Also for the return to WDW, I got off at the DTD stop and had dinner there.

How often is the Lynx bus there (at TTC)? Do you need to call ahead? is there a published schedule for that bus? sorry for all the Q's

Ok - just googled the lynx bus and found out the info. Thanks!;)

The Lynx bus also stops at DTD. There is a stop on the street right behind the marketplace. We didn't know this and walked all the way to the westside, way behind the Cirque building. Just tell the driver you are going to Sea World and he/she should tell you when the stop is. Our driver also annouced the DTD stop on the way back as there were several of us getting off there. We had time for a quick dinner before getting a bus back to POR.

Another thing to check is the return schedule. We stayed for the fireworks and took our time walking to the bus stop. We missed the bus by about 2 minutes and had to wait over 30 minutes for the next one. There is also no light to cross the street to the bus stop back to WDW. But overall it was a very easy experience and I'd do it again to take a trip to Sea World. And I did it alone with my two kids. The cost was $2 each way for me and $1 each for the kids.

regards

DBr wants to spend a day at Sea World so I have breakfast ressies at Kona then a quick walk (right?) to TTC to pick up the Lynx bus then get off at DTD on the way home for dinner at WPE and a little shopping!

Exactly!! You need to go all the way across the TTC past all the ticket booths, then under an awning, then you will be in the "bus circle". That is where you will find the Lynx #50 stop.

I'm sure you will pass many CMs along the way, just ask one of them for directions.
