Disney to Rose Bowl Stadium?

Hello there!

My DH and I just got tickets to the U2 concert in Pasadena on the May long weekend! We are thinking we'll scoot to Disney for a day (we have been there many times, and can hit our highlights on Sat), then head to the Rose Bowl on Sun for the concert. I know Anaheim and the Rose Bowl Stadium are not close together, so I am looking for transportation suggestions? We really don't want to rent a car.

Also - I only seem to be able to find flights into LAX (with our points), so would you recommend staying in Pasadena on Sun night, or heading back to LA and staying near the airport for our flight home on Monday? Any transportation suggestions for between Pasadena and LA as well?

If you do not want to rent a car you can take Amtrak to Union Station and then the metro to the Rose Bowl.

You can take the metro from Pasadena to Union Station and then take the shuttle to LAX Airport. Pasadena is nice to explore. I'd recommend staying there then going to the LAX area the next day, unless you have an early flight, and if you do, then I would stay near LAX. There are a lot of nearby hotels that you can stay at and take the shuttle to the airport.

You have to make sure the Parsons shuttle is running for the concerts. They don't allow parking there for all events at the Rose Bowl.
