I have heard that historically Disney raise the price of their park tickets on the first Sunday in August which would be this Sunday coming.

Does anyone know if this is the MYW tickets or will it include the UK tickets also?

I'm just trying to work out if I should book next year's Disney 42% & Free Dining offer (SSR/OKW) for 2011 now in case the prices of the 14 Day Ultimate tickets go up?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Last time when the other ticket prices went up, so did the 14 and 21 day ultimate tickets but after a couple of weeks i think. But im not sure when this was though - whether it was August or later in the year.

Disney UK are showing the prices as £240 for a 14 day ticket, Attraction-Tickets-Direct are now showing 2011 tickets to be £249 a person?! They are usually very competitive on their prices.

The US price increase does not usually affect the UK tickets immediately, if at all. In fact I am not convinced there is a direct connection between the increases at all. Our tickets seem to work on the exchange rate, but they are so different to the MYW tickets that you can't really compare. The UK 2011 ticket prices are already out on the website as they have been available for booking as part of a package for some time now. If you can book and you feel you are ready to do so now, it won't hurt. But I am not getting into a flap about it because our promotions seem to be independent of those in the US, for the most part.

Have you thought of doing a search on Kenny (Pegasus) threads on ticket prices and tracing the ones from this time last year to see?

Hi we are looking at booking via undercover tourist so we will be paying US prices. How much will they increase by as will get them now if it is a significant rise.
Cheers x

No way of telling really. Disney loves the element of surprise! Usually by a few $$ for a base ticket which reflects as less the more days you get on the tickets. Of course, if you are a party of 2 it may make little difference. A family of 6 would be more likely to feel it.

The Orlando Sentinel reported Friday that the base price of a one-day, one-park adult ticket will increase from $75 to $79. The same ticket for a child between the ages of 3 and 9 will go from $63 to $68. Prices for the resort's multiday ticket packages also will rise. The new prices will go into effect Sunday.

This was last year in August.

And this one was on the mousekingdom.com blog

One day passes for adult raise a staggering 5.3%, from $75 to $79, with the children’s day pass going up7.9% and will now cost you $68. Multi day passes will also raise in price. They will go up somewhere between 2.6% and 4.7%, depending on the length you stay. Add the hopper option and the Water Park option, you’ll be set back another $2 for each option. Those option will now go from $50 to $52.
