Disney to Cocoa Beach

We are leaving Saturday morning for Disney, first time driving and want to do some extra stuff around Orlando vs. flying and doing the towncar from the airport. Since we have reservations for 14 nights thought instead of leaving 2-3 days early to spend a few nights at the beach on the way home, we might could just pop over to Cocoa Beach for a day trip and maybe do it a couple of days.

Anyone have a current status of how Cocoa Beach is after all the hurricanes for a family day at the beach?

Cocoa Beach had a lot of damage. Not sure I would plan a couple of days there at this point.

What about New Smyrna or Daytona Beaches? Same thing?

Problems at most of the beaches along the east coast of FL.
