hey guys,

for people who have gone before do you get better deals buying the park tickets in the uk or once you get to disney?

cheers
Stu

We have been looking into this over the last couple of days and have decided that for us, the best option financially is to pay when we get there.

We plan to buy a 7 day ticket for Disney and will also go to Typhoon Lagoon at some point. A 7 day hopper with 7 entries to the water parks/Downtown Disney attractions worked out £10 more than what we actually need (if purchased in the UK).

The Orlando Flexticket is not too bad on value if you buy it there as that allows unlimited access to the Universal and Busch attractions as well as WetnWild.

Overall, I am pretty sure that the price is very slightly cheaper on the gate. The UK options are for more days than you actually will use, so not worth paying the extra (unless you want to be in a park every single day).

thanks for the tips...we were planning on buying there, just wanted to make sure!

wow you got married at disney...I've been telling my cousin to make sure she gets married at disney for as long as I can remember...so maybe I should start telling her boyfriend too!!! here's hoping lol

Yes....it was an amazing place to get married ! I notice there are a few in the September thread who will also be tying the knot there...cant believe it was 3 years ago already!

We bought our tickets there for the last 3 trips and have had no trouble.

One thing I would point out is that if you plan to spend 3 days at Universal (or IOA) then check out their website - it has a 3 days for the price of two offer on.

Stu it depends, the Ultimate passes are only available in the UK so you would need to buy before you go.You can also use www.ticketmania.com & www.mapleleaftickets.com to have the full range of options (except Ultimates) open to the US travellers. We have used Ticketmania as we wanted a 6 Day pass & only 5 & 7 are available over here. Also you can buy non-expiry from them.

we always buy before we go, Ultimate tickets from attractions direct.
As has been said you can only get them in the UK.
seaworld tickets i have always bought online from the seaworld website again before we go.
think it just depends what tickets you want and where you want to spend your days

if you're planning on going to WDW for more than a week, then you should absolutely get the 14 day ultimate which is only available in the UK..

i just bought the 14 day ultimate a few weeks ago from attraction tickets direct....the 14 day ticket works out to be cheaper than the 10 day magic your way water parks and more ticket....and you have unlimited entrance into everything in WDW (including waterparks and Disneyquest)..
it's an outstanding value and only available in the UK>..

I also enjoy the flexibility of the 14 day ultimate ticket which as the previous posters point out can only be booked from the UK. I would recommend attractions tickets direct which I have used and always had my tickets within a week.

Have a great trip!

thanks everyone...

this time we're only going for a week (about 5 full days) so I think we're going to buy there. but for next year the ultimate tickets look fantastic!

I love this sight, it's sooo helpful

thanks again
