We are about to purchase our tickets for our upcoming Disney trip. Priceline seems to have the best prices, even better than Undercover Tourist. Has anyone ever bought Disney tickets from Priceline? Are they legit? TIA.

Did you make sure to include taxes and shipping in the price? If not, I will guess that they are higher than UT (which includes taxes and has free shipping).

It says they do include taxes, as far as shipping, I believe you are sent a link to a voucher which you bring to Disney World to claim your tickets, so there is no shipping.

Weird, I'm coming up with Priceline as the cheapest when I price it out for my trip in June. I'm looking to get a 6 day ticket with the waterpark fun and more option for 2 adults and 1 child, I'm getting:
$1,012.85 through Undercover Tourist booked through the Mousesavers link
$1,052.24 through Orbitz
$974.76 through Priceline

Maybe that's b/c Priceline is giving a discount on the waterpark option too and Orbitz and UT are not? I priced it out base tickets only..

Gate price for two adult and one child for six day with six fun, including tax is $1,051.16. The price Disney would wholesale out the tickets would be about $946 ad the authorized resellers are allowed to set any price they want.

just priced my tickets through priceline. It must be some discount with the waterpark part, because mine are exactly the same as through the mousesavers link. Although...if I would have shopped through one of my shopping sites, I would have gotten about 5% cash back! So don't forget to do that if you buy them through priceline!

For $19 more through UT/MS you can also add Park hopping.

This could account for the difference. From Priceline
For a limited time Priceline gives you TWO DAYS FREE 2 on Walt Disney World® Magic Your Way® Tickets with Park Hopper® or Water Park Fun & More Options. Purchase a 5-Day Ticket, pay for only 3 days! Purchase a 7-Day Ticket, pay for only 5 days! You get the picture!

There is no such thing as a "free" day on any Disney ticket; it is all Marketing Hype!

Whether you are buying a four day ticket with three free days, a five day ticket with two free days, a six day ticket with one free day, or a seven day ticket, all you are buying is a seven day ticket.

Disney wholesales out their tickets to authorized resellers, who are allowed to set any price they want on them. Some may only buy tickets with certain numbers of days, so they advertise free days.

One thing to do is be aware of the actual Gate price of each ticket. If you go to Post #18-A of the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets you can see the official chart. Note these prices do not include the 6.5% Sales Tax. Some of the locations include the tax in their displayed prices while others add it at the end. To get to the sticky click on the link in my signature.

1) The 6-day tix w/fun are sold at Orange Lake retail ticket counter.
2) The commission, alone, is $63 per adult ticket to the employee.
3) This does not count the profit for the company.

Marketing hype or not, they are at a discount. The OP was wondering about the price difference, the discount is the reason for it.

Just wanted to update that we did end up getting our tickets through Priceline. It worked perfectly. Priceline emailed me a link to a voucher that I had to print out. I showed the voucher and my ID at the TTC and was given my tickets. They were the standard Disney tickets that look like a credit card with a character on the front, same as you would get anywhere. I definitely recommend getting your tickets this way.

No, they were a set price. But they were the cheapest I was able to find for the type of tickets we wanted (6 day plus waterpark option.)
