We've booked a Virgin holiday for 2009 staying at All Star Music and didn't buy the park tickets (with hindsight we should have bought them with 10% discount). Will the hotel put a 14 day pass on our room key if the voucher is booked through another company? (There is no way I'm going to try to amend my booking with Virgin as that seems to be when problems start.)

And if you do have a 14 day pass put on you key does it start from when it is put on your key or when you go to your first park? (i.e. will we be able to use it on day 15 if we don't start using it until the day after we arrive?)

Starting with the easy one - it starts from first use so you could use it on your last day.

Putting tickets on your room key seems to depend on who you get. I have read that it is possible but the concierge at Animal Kingdom Lodge this year said they couldn't do it for us as "if it stops working there is nothing we can do on a 14 day ticket".

Thanks. It doesn't really matter if we have to have separate tickets, I just wondered.

They never used to like putting separately purchased, UK-exclusive tickets on to room keys; not sure if this has changed recently.
