Does anyone have experience with purchasing disney tickets on Ebay? Whats your opinion on this?

With the new bio scans and no way of knowing what on the ticket at face value I would strongly be against it .

Go to Mousesavers and get some discounts from them.

It would look real bad is you get to the park and Disney tells you no with your $200 tickets in hand.

Some sellers are not crooked just misinformed about reselling a used ticket.

I agree. You have no idea whether a ticket is valid until you get to either a Disney resort or Theme Park. For the last year or so, tickets have been linked to a biometric scan of the owners fingers. If someone else used them first, then you are screwed. A DIS'er reported being in line behind someone trying to use ebay tickets with his family. They were turned away at the ticket turnstile and had to buy full price passes if they wanted in to the Magic Kingdom that day. It was said that the kids were mortified, and thier dad was very embarrassed.

I bought 2 day park hoppers tics last year on Ebay. I checked the feedback on several on the sellers who had over 1000 positive feedback and even contacted random buyers about their experiences before bidding. I purchased from 2 separate buyers as I sold stuff on ebay, I purchased tics. I saved about $50 on each one. I had no problems.

As always with ebay, buyer beware. My experience was a good one.
