I have four 5 Day World Hopper Passes. I believe that they don't expire. Going to Disney world Nov. 19th. I thought I could call and find out how many days left. But no you have to email them, and there is not enough time.

The ticket has our pictures on them. There are 1-5 number that can be holed punched. ONLY 2 holes are punched.

But the ticket is stamped this way:

May 4 95 ST (A7 :47)
May 6 MK (A7 :46)
Nov 03 1996 (ST)
Nov 04 1996 (MK)

Can anyone tell me do I go by the holes that are punched or the dates that are stamped?

I was not sure which Board to put this on, so if it is wrong please let me know what board to post this to.

Thank you

You have time to get a reply. You send them a picture of your ID as well as the front and back of each ticket, your address and contact phone number as well as email and they get back to you in a few days. I did it last week and had my answer within 3 days.

The punches mean nothing. It goes by the number of dates stamped on the ticket. Looks like you should have 1 left. Just take it to the ticket window to get it swapped out for and rfiD ticket

A word of caution about using these tickets.

If you are going to WDW for, say, 4-6 days and you DO use a older ticket with a day or two left on it, it would generally be unwise to
ALSO use a NEW ticket to cover the other days of the trip.

Doing so would render the value of an old ticket (currently worth at least $100... or, up to $200, or more)
down to just $10-$25, or so.

If your current "old" ticket will cover your entire upcoming WDW trip, then it's a great use of the tickets.

Just remember that you can't use them to visit Animal Kingdom, because it wasn't built yet!

I'm using park hopper tickets from the 90's on our upcoming trip (a few days already used), and I think you should go by the dates, not the hole punches.

I also think that you should still try to email them. When I emailed the Walt Disney World Resort, I received a reply within two days!

To be more accurate, what's true is that I was TOLD that at least once, if not a couple times, by CMs.

Unfortunately, that info is 100% incorrect. It has become one of those often-repeated Disney Myths.
It's akin to the myth that the buses begin running an hour before the park opens.

The truth is...
You may use any valid WDW theme park tickets, regardless of when they were issued, to enter all 4 WDW theme parks.

That's not true. You can use it for Animal Kingdom. Where'd you hear such terrible advice?

You two are right. Old tickets from pre-AK years CAN be used for Animal Kingdom. I checked with guest services (I think they're a step up from regular phone CMs?).

I can't thank you both enough. I'm adding a day in AK to my plans for next week. No one in our party has been there before. So. Excited.

And fyi, the woman I talked to sort of laughed and said, "Yes, a lot of people think that." It really is a common myth as you said.

Thank you thank you thank you!
