Disney Tickets for Life???

Funnily enough a guy that I work with is off to WDW next month and was saying he has lifetime passes along with his brother and parents from years ago. I thought it was the non expiration feature that he was talking about but he said no it is a lifetime pass. Was I jealous???? Of course I was!

I have to say I'm skeptical. Does this guy go to Disney often? He may not know the difference between a park hopper with no expiration and an annual pass. Let us know what you find out! :listen:

Well, I'm almost positive that they are not available to the regular public, but are given as special perks to celebrities and various other people.

I'm pretty sure that the Osbourne family (they of the "spectacle of lights" in MGM every year) have, if not lifetime passes, at least annual passes for every year their family name and image is used at MGM...

For ABC Celebrities, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Oprah, Rosie O'D, Susan Lucci and others have these as perks...

In 1995 when I was pregnant with my son I went for an 'orientation' trip around the local maternity hospital (Derriford in Plymouth, Devon). The nurse that was showing us around was actually a girl I was pretty friendly with in school. Her name was Nicky, I noticed on her name badge it said Nicky Disney and when I commented on it she said that she'd got married and that was her married name. When I said 'How cool' She said that she'd just split from her husband so would be going back to her maiden name. When I said 'that's a shame' she replied that she'd be sorry to give up her lifetime pass!!! Now I was gobsmacked but was preoccupied with looking at the delivery ward where I'd be giving birth etc so didn't think to question her more about it.
Now I'm frantically emailing friends to try and find info (I can't remember her maiden name) but I do know she's married a guy in the navy.
Whether she was joking or not I'm unsure but I'll try and find out.
