I was cleaning out my closet today and found Park Hopper passes from 2003. :cool1: I am pretty sure that all the days were not used and they were from long before WDW started putting an expiration on tickets. My questions are --

1) Will WDW still honor them?

2) How can I find out how many days the tickets have left before we get to WDW?

3) One of the tickets is for a 3-9 year old. Since that kid is now 19, can he still use that ticket to get into the parks?

Thanks in advance!

Based on my experience with my 1999 paper Park Hoppers:

1) Will WDW still honor them?
Yes.

2) How can I find out how many days, if any, the tickets have left?
Inside any park, Guest Services can use the numerical code on the back of the ticket(s) and look up how many days are left on each ticket.

This I do not know. If the ticket info pulls up his name, I do believe that he should still be able to use it. However, my tickets are so old that they no longer showed the name of the original ticket holders, so I don't know what would happen in that instance.

I hope you have a lot of days left on those Hoppers. That would be pretty great!

Wow what a surprise!!! Not sure on answers though! That would totally make my year!

1. Yes. If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #8, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

2. Disney is willing to let you know if a ticket is valid or not. They will not tell you how many days remain over the phone. For that you would have to go to a WDW Ticket or Guest Relations window.

3. See #1 but go to Post #9 in the sticky.

Thanks so much for answering! Do you know if there is a way to find out before we get there? I would like to buy the tickets that we need before we leave home.

I hope so, too!

It is definitely making me pretty happy right now!

I don't know if it would work but can you link them in MDE? I would think this would tell you how many days you have so it knows how many days to allow you to make FP+ reservations on a resort only stay. Just a thought but again I do not know if this would get you the desired info.

Disney will not confirm if there are any days left on tickets over the phone. From past experiences I had to do any ticket inquires in person. Perhaps if you buy then find out you have days left and the purchased tickets has not been used at all.. Disney may be able to refund you the purchased ticket, but check the refund policy to make sure.
There is a customer service kiosk in DTD that can check your ticket before you try to enter the parks.

(407) 939-7523 will give you info on how to find put how many days are left. You email them with a photocopy of front and back of tickets, your govt id and I think one other thing but I can't remember what it is. They said it takes 3-5 business days for a response.
