My sister went with her family of 4 to WDW last December. They ended up with one day on their park hopper pass that they didn't use...it has no expiration, but it has her family name and 2004 on it. My family of 4 is going this November. She said she will give us their pass for that one day. Does anyone think we will have a problem using it? IE..do they check ids at the gate or anything?

TIA!!

Yes, expect to have a problem.

The guest(s) using the adult tickets must insert fingers into the biometric scanner at the turnstiles. If the scans (dimensions, not fingerprints) don't match what is on file, the CM will ask more questions and undoubtly discover you are using someone else's tickets.

They can check Id's and they have gone to finger scan system for everyone now. This is one of the reason's why Disney has gone with the biometric scans for everything. So you can take them and try to use them but be prepared to buy new ones.

Oh yes, also expect the tickets to be confiscated, especially also with someone else's name on them.
