Can I please just check.

There are eight of us going staying on site - do we each individually get our disney tickets and 21 day worth of free dining

Or

Do we just get ONE card for all of the tickets/meals

Many thanks

Everyone in your party will get their own ticket, which will work as park entry, room key, and dining plan!

If you have all selected free dining then you will get it added to room or rooms that you have booked. You get a room card and you are credited the amount of meals to that card. So if you go for 10 days and there are 3 of you get 30 table service, 30 snacks and 30 counter service, if that is the plan that you have. If is up to you how you use them. As long as you have used them up by mid-night on the day you check out:thumbsup2

Each person gets a room key with their name on it. The key will contain their personal park tickets. I think the dining plan works per room so each person in a room will be able to access all the dining plan credits associated with that room.

Right just to double check, there are eight of us, two children, staying in two bed in saratoga springs .......... so everyone will get their individual card which has a room key, disney ticket and free dining on??

Yes, you will. You can also use the card to pay for any extras ie alcoholic drinks, tips or Disney shops if you choose. We usually just use 1 card to charge to.

Me again ............... was just thinking tonight .......... if there are eight of us, and all eight of us get our own card ......... does that mean each counter service meal and table service meal we will have to give the waiter all eight cards so they deduct one per person's card???

you will only have to give one card per room. ie: if you have 8 people, 4 in each room, your dining credits will be split, with 4 people's credits assigned to one room, and the other 4 assigned to the other room. you should give them one card from each room.
(in theory you could give them one card for the whole meal, and they will take the credits for all 8 off one room, but then you'd end up with more credits attached to one room, and not as many to the other room. you'd then need to keep track of how many are left on each room, it would be easier to give them one card from each room and get them to take the appropriate amount of credits off each room).
when we were there last year, ALL dining was put on my card, DHs card was never swiped for the purposes of dining. we had one meal where we met up with friends, all of which were on the DDP too. we each gave them one room card, and between 8 of us, they charged 2 credits to each card.

In a word, yep. :)
Actually, in a word, "no" is the answer! :goodvibes

Each key contains access to ALL the credits for ALL 8 people. Therefore, when you pay the check you can give just ONE key and the credits will be deducted from the DP total. :thumbsup2

We just use my card, as we do everything together no reason to use all the cards.

Each person needs a card as it is also their park ticket.
The DDP credits are all on one account per room, but are accessible from any of the cards.
When you check in you can choose which cards have charging privileges, which is seperate from the DDP. So you can give charging priveleges to adults but not kids, for example.
All cards can still be used for DDP, regardless of charging priveleges - e.g. DD went and got an ice cream using a snack credit with her non-charging card. The credit was still deducted from the one DDP account of course.
When you make a DDP transaction, the receipt shows how many credits remain - for the account not the card.

In our case, even though there are eight of us, we are all family, and will be together for the meals, so that means then I can use one card for all of us - thanks :goodvibes
