Does DVC owners get a discount on park tickets? Also are after hour tickets cheaper? Our flight is an afternoon flight so no sense in using a ticket the first day but I would be interested in buying like a 1/2 day ticket if there is such a thing.

I am not aware of any DVC discounts at the the moment, except for the Gold Annual Pass. But they do have ticket offers from time to time. The most recent offer was for seven days for the price of 5, usable over a 180day period. Normally you have 2 weeks to use park tickets from date of first use.
