we're only there 7 nights, which means I can just about squeeze 8 days in, we don't want water parks, and I'm not that fussed about hopping

so what is the cheapest way to buy a magic your way base ticket??

Would love to know the answer to this too! I do want park hopper option *** sometimes you get to a park and want to leave and go somewhere else if its really busy, would hate to be stuck somewhere if you know what I mean. Definitely don't want the water park option this time round as we are only there for 7 nights. Our trip is a while off yet, but its the first time we haven't got tix as part of the package so I feel a bit uneducated lol

we've bought the universal 14 days entry for £75 ticket so we're going to use that instead of hopping ... if we've had enough of a disney park we'll head over there .. we're staying off property so it's not such a big deal

the last couple of times I've been I've just bought at the gate but I'm scared I'm being ripped off so wondered if there was a secret?

Orlando Attractions do seem to have a good reputation for MYW tickets, and they have an office in the UK. Currently 8 day MYW base tickets are $245, with Park Hopping option $289.

HTH.

We buy Magic Your Way tickets from www.mapleleaftickets.com, they post actual tickets to the UK or you can buy from their Kissimmee office.

You may be able to get them slightly cheaper but we prefer to use them anyway as we have always had good service.

thanks folks, will check out the links ... this time I'm travelling with a disney virgin who wants to know it's all sorted before we leave!!

Some of the prices can rise by just a few $$$, if you look at Maple Leaf the link I posted earlier you can see for example:

6-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket
(Expires 14 days from 1st use.) = $240.00

10-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket
(Expires 14 days from 1st use.) = $253.00

So only $13 extra for 4 more days. Just need to decide which suit your needs, we always go for hopper/non expiry as tickets then last more than 1 holiday.

that's why I thought I'd try and squeeze in 8 days, I don't know if I'm being over ambitious ... we're on the early flight from manchester which lands around 2pm ... every time I've been so much later than that we've just fallen into bed but friends reliably tell me I might just want to go and check the castle is still there for an hour or so at tea time ;)

Are you going to go to a park every single day though? If I remember rightly (I bought my tix a while ago so apologies if I'm wrong) no matter how many days of ticket you buy they don't have to be used consecutively but you do have a 14 day window to use them in. For example, I have 10 day Hoppers, I can use these anytime in the 14 day window from when I first activate them :thumbsup2
