Disney Themed Wedding at Home

We've been discussing and have decided to have larger wedding at home followed by taking our honeymoon at WDW and inviting friends and family to join us. But we want to bring Disney to us all the way in Maine by having a Disney themed wedding. I'm at the very beginning of planning, we just got engaged(right after Wishes last Saturday!) and we havnt even set the date. We're still trying to figure out when the most people will be able to join us for the cheapest rates(free dining and value rate times).

Anyhow, has anyone else done a Disney themed wedding at home? And do you have any ideas for me? Right now I'm thinking Red, White and Black for our colors. And DF said he wants his groomsmen to wear mickey gloves.

Our colors are red, white, and black!! We are doing our wedding at the swan though.
There are plenty of brides here that are doing at home disney weddings. I'd suggest looking through the pj's, there are TONS of ideas in them!! You can even start one of your own!!

I am doing an at-home Disney wedding this November, and like Kristi mentioned- there are tons of other at-home bride's PJs! Feel free to browse Personal Journals in progress, and previous ones as well. This community its very friendly, crafty, and extremely helpful!

We are getting married on the Dream and then having a Disney themed reception. We are doing red, yellow, and black. This way I can use the yellow in the dresses and red/black for decorations
