Disney Themed Hotels

I read on here awhile ago that Disney was going to put up themed Hotels in other cities? Is this true? If so where?

I haven't seen or heard that particular rumor. I have read a few times though, that the Disney Vacation Club (the Disney version of a timeshare) is going to be building a DVC resort in Hawaii. Maybe that's where the rumor came from?? Who knows?

DVC in Hawaii is true, but the rumors have been around longer than that. I think it was last year that there was some "announcement" that they were considering opening resorts in other locations with the theme, but not with a full them park. DVC Hawaii may or may not be an extension of that idea, although I thought the original idea was from the non-DVC side.
