Disney Tattoos

I am going to keep her black and gray. I am hoping to get some of the actual sketching details in the work. We will see. I just like the look of the pencil marks. I am going to either get her on my side or right shoulder. Still undecided.

I think it would look really sharp!

I want to add more of a disney touch to my flowers on my foot. The flowers are my boys birth month flowers and the water lily does have a hidden mickey...but I want to make this a little longer towards my toes and more girly. Thinking maybe pixie dust scattered around the tattoo, or maybe stars and mickey heads scattered ??? Any ideas?

here is the the pic of the tattoo I am getting later in the summer

OMG, that's the tattoo I'm getting in July for my birthday. I found it on Facebook a few months ago, I printed it out to take with me when I go. You've got good taste. ;) I love it! Great tattoos everyone.
I'm keeping her black gray as well. I love the way it looks without coloring it.

I really hope you both end up with excellent tattoo artists who can keep the same mood this picture conveys and all the detail in the lines. I LOVE it!

That is so awesome. A friend of mine emailed me her awhile back. Make sure to let us see how she looks on you

I hope to be getting it done soon. I want to find just the right person to do it though. :)

I think that a small Tinkerbell flying over the flowers and spreading pixie dust from her wand tip would be great!

Ok, so I am planning on getting a tattoo, and it is my first one...ever!!

I think I am going to get a Sorcerer Mickey, half sleeve, on my right upper arm. I want a lot of color. I have found a really great one on line, but my daughter is a really great artist so I may have her use it as a guide and make some changes.

I thought the best place to get some advice would be from some fellow DISers. So, any tips, advice, etc.????

Thanks!!!

Make sure to research the tattoo artist doing your work. See what other work they have done in color, this way you know what to expect. As always we want to see pictures after your tattoo.

Mine is posted on page 5, post 66.

I also wanted a lot of color & style.
Interviewed 4 artists, before I got mine done.
1st you have to like the style they work with.
2nd you have to be comfortable with the person that will be doing it.

I still love it wouldn't change it at all.

Thinking of getting another.
Peter Pan, Wendy, John, & Michel with Tinkerbell.
Flying pass Big Ben in the clouds.
Still haven't found a good picture I like to use.
Anyone have any suggestions?

That looks great. I am in the process of checking out local artists as well. My business partner just had one done also. The detail is great, but it is black shades. I am going to see if I can see some color work from that artist as well.

Thanks for the responses. Since you guys know more about tattoos than I do, let me see what you think about the work below.

One local shop which seems to get good reviews is Lucky Thirteen. They are located in Mooresville, NC. I am going to post their link below. If you don't mind, look at the work form Rob Daughaday. His work seems to have pretty good detail.

your link is messed up (I actually fixed it above) -- it was missing the last O in tattoo.

But the work seems pretty good. He's got a lot of evil-looking stuff (as do most artists now-a-days).

Oops!!!! Thanks. I fixed it above. It should work now.

That is true about the evil looking stuff. I am a pretty big guy. 6' tall and about 265. I am wondering about going in with a Happy Disney idea!!!:rotfl2:
