I took the tattoo artist my sketches today and he drew up some awesome designs for me. He saw I attempted to draw a castle and decided to draw one, too. He looked up the castle online & found the castle that's used for this year's Celebrate theme. So, I got my tattoo today...It only cost $30. He was awesome and said he enjoyed doing the castle for me. He's never been do WDW but would love to.

This is beautiful! Love it - and a great deal for $30!

Loving this thread, hopefully I'll be able to add to it soon!

Sooo I got my tattoo today! I still can't believe that I did it...

Thanks guys. I love it a lot. Though I did get some guilt from my folks from getting it, but they are over it now. At least I think so. I woke up this morning and totally forgot I actually got it and just rolled over on it though, that hurt!

I was going to ask how bad it hurt. I want something with the castle and have printed a million pictures of the castle to take with me. I have several pictures of Snow White, Tink, and Minnie printed also, I am hoping to combine one of the characters and the castle. I also have a pretty cool picture of a tiara that is a tattoo that I thought might look good with the castle. I dont know?

That sounds cool! The artist will be able to draw it up for you, and you can decide from there whether you are going to get it or not. It felt more like a hot scratching feeling, and sometimes it made me wince, but it wasn't tear inducing painful. More annoying then anything.

The only problem with the Disney idea is that people keep saying "Isn't that kind of childish?"

Why worry about what your friends think. My family is mostly "from the old country!" and they think tattoos are a disgrace, yet the one that I have of my parents pays respect to them and they cant even realize that. And as for anyone else, well i belong to a motorcycle club and when we are out i sometimes get ribbed for a disney tattoo until some of the girls see it and say things like "oh that is cute (like me LOL) or they tell the others to shut up because it is a sign of respect, or they even admire me for having the guts to have one and show it off! Just remember as long as you like it is all that counts. Think of it as hanging up a piece of art, some may like it and others may not, but its your house and if they dont like it they dont have to look.

Does anyone else have the Disney style "D".....I was thinking about doing a D on the inside of my ankle in disney lettering as my last name starts with a D so it would have double meaning...hubby might get it too...just looking for pictures
