Thanks So Much!
This picture was in the art store at Epcot, she snapped a pic of it w/her phone. It was based on the Polynesian , theres an umbrella in the pic + a pail that says Polynesian and a Tiki..which she had left out of her Tat. there is a heart written in the sand with Micke & Minnie written in it. It was supposed to b in her Tat with our names, but our artist didn't know how to do the sand. Soooo she's gonn add on to it, like maybe a sky with balloons or nighttime w fireworks, It'll b cool!

I have 26 characters and the castle. The majority of them are on my back but I have a still from Bambi on the inside of my right upper arm and an artists storybook version of alice on the inside of my right arm. Since one should always have a villian, I have Urusla on my left calf. No collection is complete without a pirate so Jack is on my right calf. Most of my pics are posted to flickr.com with the exception of the newest arm pieces.

WOW...do you have a link to your flickr

I have an existing tattoo, which I'm adding stuff to in two weeks. It's not Disney related, but I asked for a hidden Mickey inside. My tattoo artist sent me her sketch last night. I love the way she has done the hidden Mickey, but DH thinks it's not perfect enough. Here's the HM part of the sketch (I'm keeping the rest hidden for now, until it's done):

What do you guys think?

I'm thinking for my next tattoo to do a Mickey Head Dragon tattoo. Thinking these 2 pins might be a good choice. What do you think? Not sure how big or where I would put it. Maybe on my left ankle to be opposite my tattoo on my right ankle, or on my forearm.

both of them are pretty detaied so they might have to be bigger then you think to get the detail in - print up a pic of what the biggest you would have, cut it out and tap it to wherever you want to put it and see if you can live with it.

If it's a hidden mickey you are going for then perfection is not the point. Often real hidden mickeys (in the parks) are only suggestive of a mickey head. I like yours a lot!!!

That's what I was thinking too, but he was insisting that Hidden Mickeys in the park were all perfect circles. Thanks guys, I knew the Dis would confirm what i thought. :goodvibes

my thoughts exactly! I think the 2nd one would be better if you don't want something too big

There is also a version without the scales so less details.

it's not the scales so much it's the head. if it's too small it will blend into a blob in a couple of years when the ink settles and spreads out a little.

have you taking it to a tat guy? they will tell you how small the smallest can be - unless you just do an out line once you get teh eyes, teeth and horns in plus the feet you're looking at increasing the size.

I haven't taken it in as I'm looking for a new tattoo artist. The place where I had my last tat done is now closed. I hadn't thought about the head, I'll definitely think about that.

i never used to think about that until all those tattoo shows came and people would come in with such detailed prints and then ask for them to be about 2 inches.

they were shocked to see the size of what it needed to be or how much would have to be taken off.

I thought I would share a pic of my mickey head and how big it had to be to look right. Hopefully this will help you get somewhat of an idea on how big you may need to go

It looks perfect. It's not obvious to the 'untrained' observer at first glance. But trust me, those who know will know. Perfect Hidden Mickey.

Ok so this past Wednesday I got my first tattoo after three years of wanting it. I'm glad I waited b/c I tweaked it after three years. Here is what I got on top of my right foot

the 13.1 is what I added b/c I ran my first half marathon last month and it is a big deal to me because for the last four years I have been battling a chronic illness that has caused me to have trouble walking and finally I have overcome it and I was able to run a half marathon so I added the 13.1 to my favorite man since it was a big obstacle I overcame in my life!

I love this! Congratulations!
