Disney Tattoo Man Lied, Says He Will Remove All Tats

So apparently he's never been married, and finally found someone, but in order to prove his love for her, he's removing all tats and getting rid of all Disney stuff in his house.

How much money does this guy have? Tattoos are not cheap and removal is even more expensive. I hope she doesn't change her mind when she sees the scarring covering his body left by the removal process...

That's messed up. If she really loved him for him, she wouldn't be making him change himself. Hope he doesn't regret having them removed once they are really gone.

I don't even know how he could afford going to Disney World so many times a year. Doesn't he live in Pennsylvania or somewhere pretty far away? It's been such a long time since I read about this guy.

That's insane. That's such a strange way to show someone you love them, especially if they met at a Disney convention. You'd think she'd be fine with all his Disney stuff.

The auction was pretty interesting, about 4 hours long. I don't think he got as much money as he wanted, lots of stuff was going for less then the estimates. I bid on a few things but didn't come home with anything in the end. A lot of the stuff seemed home-made, or not official Disney. But there were a few cool pieces in there. At the auction one of his friends was there giving an interview and they claimed that he was on a Disney Cruise at the time of the auction. Presumeably with the new love of his life. Also claimed (in news outlets up this way) he plans to remove only some of the tattoos, enough that he could walk around in short sleeves (not sure about shorts) and not have any showing. Said he wanted to be his new girlfriend's husband first, and not the Tattooed Guy.

Still wish I'd been able to get the Mr Toad's Wild Ride weathervane....

we have DVC and go down to WDW about 4-5 times a year . I saw him at least 2-3 times one year and I could not stop staring at him . He looks wierd and is creepy when he talks . He told me " nice Mickey" and pointed to my tattoo on my ankle . He tried to keep talking to me but I was out of there pretty fast . I know people just love this guy but I am not one of them . He is just weird

This guy is full of it if he thinks he is going to remove his tattoos. They don't remove that easily and since he has so many there is no way. Someone commented on the news story saying they know this guy and have for the last 30 years and he is and always will be a liar and has in fact been married at least 6 times. Sounds like he is just spinning another story.

In the video in the earlier post there is a sign in his yard that says something about George and Sue and he refers to "we" when he talks about the stuff in the house. Sure sounded married to me. He also talked about his daughters bedroom in the video.

He was married, I believe 5 times if I'm not mistaken. In an article I read about him he stated that 'wives come and go but Disney is always there for him' - or something to that extent. He lives not too far from where I do and I have seen him a few times at the Disney Store where I work. He hasn't been in for years though - or if he has, I haven't been working at that time.

I wouldn't doubt that for a minute. Now I love Disney World, but this man has taken it to the extreme in a weird way.
