Disney Takes All My Money

Okay, I realize I'm an adult, so I'm going to be responsible enough to fess up that I spend as much as I can on Disney things. I think there may have to be a Disney Anamous (sp?) for people like me.

Case in Point

1) I went to Disneyshopping.com the other day to pre-order the Little Mermaid. $40 w/ shipping. If I spend $10 more, I'd get a $25 gift card, so that means I'd be making $15. So I order the Disney Insider Yearbook, getting my total to $80, now I have free shipping. So of course, I realize that if I spend just $20 more dollars, I'll get a gift card for $50 instead of $25. I'm now a member of the WDCC. For just $50, (which really I'm getting back with the gift card,) I'm a member, and getting a figurine of Ariel. So somehow, just going on Disney Shopping to buy one movie, I ended up spending $130. (But I am getting $50 back, and got free shipping. )

2) I spent my entire tax refund ($600 ) on Disney pins. (That really needs no explaining.)

3) I save up money for a trip to Disney, go, spend saved money, come home, repeat.

This could go on for awhile. I am not in debt, nor am I not able to cover my bills. I live comfortably enough, but my house, is over-crowded with Disney memorabillia. But every time I see something cute or whatever - I must buy it. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem

Also 4) I already have a list of things I have to buy in Dec while at Disney. (Mostly park exclusive cd's.)

Another theory I have; Since I own stock in Disney, isn't it helping my stock since I'm putting so much money into Disney.

::::raises hand:::: disney spendaholic here too.. although i do find myself way more apt to spend mercilessly while IN the world. it's like they pump something into the air that makes you want to spend...
oh and those darn pins are certainly better than crack!

If your pre-order it from Disney you get four lithographs for free. For $10 more you get a pin and two mini plushes, Sebastian and Flounder I believe. And of course I "need" the plushes and the pin.

I know. I only went on E-Bay to buy a couple. But then I ended up getting around 100 - which really isn't too bad, considering each pin only cost an average of $6.

And I got some good ones, a lot of LE's, some traders, and all ones that I love. My heart is big, I love so much. So the quality and quantity of the pins are great. It's just the amount that was so amazing.

I see, I want, I buy - That's my problem.

Me, too, me too. I just brought DVC and ya know where tht leads to right. Just a quick trip here, how about another Ap this year, it will cover trips for up to a year, which means that I have to go again, then there is that dang dining plan. Plus when you get there you shop and then the add a point itis hits. It never ends!!!!!!!!!!!
