The conference is scheduled at the Disneyland Hotel from 09/15 to 09/17. The "pre" and "post" tours may be in the parks. An evening dinner at PP will put us in the parks too.

09/13 1:30 - 2:30 Pirates fo the Caribbean Suite & Disnyland Dream Suite Tour. I originally requested this for 09/14 and was wait listed but they opened it up for the 13th and sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted it.

09/15 10:15 to 1:15 Walk in Walts Footsteps

09/15 1:00 - 2:00 WAIT LISTED Micky Mouse Penthouse & Disneyland Dream Suite, I don't know what our owner was thinking because this overlaps with Walk in Walts Footstep by 15 minutes.

09/15 2:45 - 5:45 Discover the Magic Tour

I would have loved to go on the studio tour on the 18th but I think my husband will be ready to hit the parks by then since he won't be able to attend any of the conference events.

Anyone going to be on any of my tours?

Looks like we're together for both tours on the 15th!

I wanted to do the Studios tour so badly!! But I fly out of LAX on the 18th at 5:00pm. I checked with Disney and there isn't enough time to get from the Studios, back to the Disneyland Hotel, then off to LAX in time for my flight. I was so disappointed!!

This is my first year at the Conference so I have no idea how many people are expected or how it will affect crowd levels in the parks. But it's probly safe to expect a few travel agents around that week starting 9/13. Don't worry. We don't bite.

What fun, we must try to find each other on the tour. The owner of the agency is going on the Studio Tour but I opted out because I will be with my husband who will NOT be able to attend any of the conference events and I really didn't want to leave him behind AGAIN. Also our 26th anniversary is on the 18th, plan on doing the parks and dinner at Blue Bayou at 6:50. I would have loved to do the tour too but..............

I checked my breakout sessions and we don't mesh on any of them. We check out on the 21'st to drive to Vegas. Flying out of their on the 23rd.

We really must make a point to at least have a moment for a face to face. I wrote your DIS name and real first name on my itinerary to remind me. Make a note of mine too. By the way what day do you check in? We check in on the 12th.

I will also be at the EarMarked Conference, arriving 13th and departing the
18th. Doing the Dream Suite tour on the 13th because couldn't get in the other ones. They were all waitlisted when I registered, which was the very first day you could register. I'm glad they opened up another date.
Doing a power walk one of the days. Can't wait to see everyone there. There are 2 of us going and this is our first time. We are Disney fanatics so should be a great time. Would be fun to meet the DIS people.

First name is Linda. I am on the 1pm tour on the 13th. I was on the wait list for the 1pm tour on the 14th. I know they have 2 different times for the tours, the 1pm and the 1:30pm. Who has been to this before? Do we get a final document packet? Are all of you staying at the Disneyland hotel?

Oh darn, I'm on the 1:30 and also had been wait listed. I still am wait listed for the other suite tour, Mickey Mouse Penthouse and the Dream Suite that I had signed up for on 09/15 but it did not show up on the last confirmation that they had sent me this past Wednesday. The only reason I got another confirmation was because they had to add two days onto the end of my stay at the Disneyland Hotel (09/19 & 09/20).

I'm still going to look for you Linda along with Laurie. I'll be checking out credentials and asking are you wsapooh (I can't even pronounce that one), are you lindym? People will think I'm nuts.

The owner of the agency is one of the original EarMarked TA's and has not missed any of these. She says they are wonderful but were even better a couple of years ago because they let your non-TA spouse or guest join in on some of the stuff. My poor husband will be stuck by himself for those couple of days. I wonder if they will even try to top last years give away, that would be GREAT wouldn't it?

I'm staying at the Disneyland Hotel, yes. I've stayed at the Grand Californian before (only 'cause I got in on a crazy cheap agent rate a few years ago!) and am looking forward to staying here. I am a big scrapbooker and novice photographer. I am looking forward to the free time before the conference to explore the hotel and parks... and take mountains of photos!

My screen name, wsapooh, comes from "Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too". When Pooh and Tigger first meet, Tigger comes bouncing through Pooh's door and sits on Pooh's tummy.

wsapooh is the question "What's a Pooh?" condensed down into a single word. what's a Pooh.... wha sa pooh.... wsapooh. Hopefully that helps a little with pronunciation.

DH came up with that when I needed a screen name. I don't have that kind of imagination!

Our agency has been EarMarked since the program began, but no one here has ever attended the conference. No idea why!!

Hey, I'll be there too!!!!!!!!! We signed up on the first day.
Kuthyone, I know you from TGMike too!! (Colleen). We are doing the Walk in Walt's Footsteps, the tours of the penthouse, the Studios Tour on Thurs.... and of course, the owner wants us to do the "power walk" in the mornings!! THAT should be interesting!!

I am flying in on Sunday, arriving before noon. Sunday, I plan on hitting the parks! I think I'll have Monday morning in the parks too before the tour begins. I know I am doing the afternoon "walt" tour because I figure it will end in time for me to get ready for dinner.

I wonder if the dinners will be themed like they were last year.....remember the Typhoon Lagoon beach party (rained out) and the Expedition Evererst Party....also rained out!

Anyone else trying decide what exactly to bring as far as wardrobe goes!! I HAVE NO CLUE!

Kuthyone, I think they take you off the waitlist for the other suite tour since you accepted the one on the 13th. I know the waitlist I had on the 14th is gone since I took the one on the 13th. Can't wait to meet everyone. Is anyone else doing any of the power walks. I am only doing one of them.

Last year, we wore 'business casual', lots of capris - things like that. If you watch the video from last years, it will give you a good idea. Gave me a good excuse to shop yesterday too! Didn't want to wear the same things as last year. Also, WDW was much warmer than DL appears. Of course, last year, the conference fell in the middle of my WDW vacation so I had lots packing room (we drove). This year, with flying, I am a bit more limited! Plus, knowing what the 'themes' were for dinner made it easier (like beach party...). No hints as to what they are doing this year!!

We are doing the power walks......you'll be able to find me...I'll be the one passed out on the side of the path! Think they will notice if I duck into the first ride....even though they won't be open!

I was there last year! Also, if you had looked at the itinerary on DTA, it had said "Typhoon Lagoon Dinner Party" or "Expedition Everest Party". This year, it says "Disney's CA. Adventure - Paradise Pier, departing from The Disneyland Hotel's ballroom". No hints there!

No, we don't get any packets sent to us before we go. You can pick up your tickets at the resort when you check in.
