I got an email asking me to participate in WDW resorts in person survey in Chicago scheduled for September. They will pay me $75 for my thoughts. I guess I will be adding my comments about the AP rate dilemma....anyone else get an email like this. It sounds fun!

Congrats! Sounds like fun! We'd all love to have our voices heard! You might also consider asking them about those mysterious discount "postcards" and emails they send out. It's hard to hear about the fabulous discounts and not be able to take advantage!

I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FOR THE SURVEY, BUT I WORK SO I CAN ATTEND,
IT WAS FOR TODAY 8/13/03 IN NEW YORK.

The Dallas group was scheduled to meet on Monday. I got the email, but never received a phone call. Maybe one of those lucky enough to have participated could post and tell me what I missed out on?

I was part of the Dallas Group. The only thing that was discussed in the survey group was the final "design" or wording of the future layout of the www.disneyworld.com website.

I don't know if this is the same type of e-mail that you got or the same type of survey, but they are not there to talk to you about AP rates or postcard codes. I doubt they will even know what you are talking about. So not to be a witch, but if this is the same survey, don't expect to go there on your soapbox because they just want to know which phrases sound better for their site.

Thanks for the warning of it only being about website wording. I got the Chicago one and if they called I was considering taking a day off of work. I won't do that now.

I received one yesterday for a group in Atlanta on 8/28. This is a work day for me so I can not go. Also Atlanta is about a 4 hour drive for me so the $60 which was offered for compensaion would not have covered the trip. I would have loved to have participated but I can not get off work with this short notice.

DH was part of it in Boston about a year ago. Like CRBorbust's experience, they only discussed the new website. He didnt know this beforehand.
This was around the time we were all up in arms over no EE and I sent him there saying "Early Entry, Early Entry, Early Entry", LOL! I guess the first thing they said to them was that they are there to only discuss the subject at hand.

The emails are sent by them, you have to be part of the panel to participate, I signed up when I took a survey for them online a few weeks ago. It goes by your email address and is by invitation.
