I need some suggestions on what to put in a surprise bag for a little girl going to Disney. I wanted to give it to her at the resort. I thought of two things:

Autograph book
Tinkerbell headband

What are your suggestions?

For our trip last month I did surprise baskets for my boys that I shipped down ahead of time. They came out really cute! I got a lot of my stuff at the Dollar Tree. They have tons of Disney stuff!!! I got marker sets, pens, pez, lollipops. I had found at Toys R Us Nemo little flashlights and Cars ring pops. Oh..and at Dollar Tree I got lots Of Disney Tatoos and stickers!
Good Luck hunting!!!:)

My kids love when I get them each their own disposable camera to use, disney dollars, fan with spray bottle(if you are going when it is hot), glow sticks.

Glow sticks are a great idea! They are at the dollar store and work just as well as the ones that are over the top expensive during the parade! Plus we had extra and shared the love with everyone sitting beside us!

I ordered baskets from Betsy at Memories by Betsy She will deliver them to our resort so they will be there by check in For my 7 y/0 gd that loves High School Musical her basket includes HSM T-shirt , Minnie Cheerleader Plush,HSM Lipgloss ,HSM Megaphone ,Drawing Pad and Tink Fanny Pack. For my 8y/o gs we have Pal Mickey,Drawing Pad,Light Saber Key Chain,Darth Goofy Action Figure and Mickey Fanny Pack. She emailed me a photo of the baskets and they are so cute I wish I knew how to post photos here

Peggy does gift baskets as well!

I ordered a gift basket from her for DD (although it will be from "Mickey!") that includes an autograph book, fat pen, pressed penny book, stuffed Mickey and Guest of Honor name tag. I am also doing Tink gifts each night as well. Here is what DD2.5 will be getting from Tink (besides a little pixie dust!)

Mon--Two Disposable cameras (the Disney ones from Walgreens)
Tues--Glow wand and light up Tink pin for MVMCP (dollar store/eBay)
Wed--Tink necklace and bracelet (handmade/ordered from eBay) Tink is inspired by the Christmas decor and wants to decorate DD as well!
Thurs--Mary Poppins Pin (for Supercalifragilistic Breakfast found on eBay) and a comb/mirror set from Target's Dollar spot (so that she can look Practically Perfect, of course!)
Fri--Chef Mickey's pin (breakfast there that day! ebay)) and Mickey/Tink tattoos from the dollar store
Sat--a Tink stocking cap (eBay) to keep Tink "on her mind" since we are leaving that day.

I have also found a 3 pack of Princess chapstick (Target) and a little Tink doll (Wal-mart clearance) that I haven't fit in yet. I think the doll will 'found' with the gift each day and she can take her home on the last day. If I can't find an appropriate place for the chapstick, Santa can use it for her stocking if he so chooses. I have also purchased glitter to sprinkle near the gifts each day as "pixie dust" and hope to have a little to sprinkle on her shoulders, etc. throughout the parks as well. It has been SO much fun to put together and I haven't even told DH about the Tink gifts so he can be surprised as well!

Hope these ideas help! Have fun!

I made bags up before hand.. When ever I would see something I liked I would put it aside.... We had the glow sticks (like a previous poster,,, that goes over very well) Disney figurines.. princesses.. Walt Disney ones from the Dollar tree. Disney stickers, hair 'stuff', disposible cameras. One thing that my DD8 LOVED (I almost did not buy it for her...) was the Mickey Electronic organizer. It will allow you to put in times for fastpasses, keep track of things you are going at Disney. She loved it and would let us know information she learned off of it.

Ok, I made a running list of some of the things suggested:

autograph book
markers
pens
pez
lollipops
flashlight
ring pop
tattoos
stickers
disposable camera
disney dollars
fan spray bottle
glow sticks
t-shirt
lip gloss
fanny pack
light up pen
hair stuff

Any more suggestions?

I called the Disney Florist and Basketeers and had them make up baskets to have delivered to our hotel room. They were AWESOME!!! The presentation was as good as the contents!!

Target's dollar section has lots of Disney stuff right now. I bought Princess stickers, sticky notepads, diary, and paper. They also have Lightning/Cars stuff for the boys (and my DD2!:rotfl: ) I found some Vivitar binoculars on clearance super-cheap, so they're getting those on our Animal Kingdom day. Plus, we're going to a Princess & Pirate Party, so I'm going to get new tiaras and lipgloss or something fun for that.

I'm also going to put together a travel journal for DD5 to fill out during our trip. I've got a link saved somewhere that has great sample pages, complete with pictures of the characters.

dollar tree has little hand held games (Pirates), disney colouring books with disney sparkely crayons

From another dollar store, I got a stamping kit and a disney sticker book
I got a small beach ball disney for the pool-walmart
walmart- chapstick-tink and pirates

Help me out... trying to be a cool mommy here. How do you give the surprise gifts? Is it something they know to expect every day at a certain time, that you give her as a gift sack or do you lay them out at night like they came magically?

I was thinking of doing something similar and have a few items, mostly small beanies and plush off ebay that I know she would like. I had thought of maybe leaving housekeeping a note with a tip and asking if they would go to my "hiding spot" (maybe a certain bag where I could have them ready to go) and pull them out to display for when we get back from the park...

Please help! I am trying hard to make this trip special for my daughter and I had thought about doing a gift basket but kept second guessing some of the things she might want. We are giving her some spending money and I want her to be able to shop for whatever, but I also had been saving some small items to give her as well... Thanks!

What I've done in the past is leave the room as normal and once everyone gets a little distance away (next building or lobby, depending where you're staying). Then say "oh no, I forgot my ________ , I have to go back and get it...wait right here." Then go back to the room and set everything up. Just make sure that you retrieve whatever it is you "forgot" back in the room so that your going back looks legitimate.

What is the Mickey Electronic Organizer? That sound like something my DS6 would love! Thanks!
