Disney Stuffed Stockings

I'm watching the Food Network special about the Holidays in Disney World. Raven mentioned that you can order a pre-stuffed Disney Stocking. I am really going through Disney with-drawals now after watching this special and I just want to cry because of all of the useless money that we have spent on all those Christmas gifts for people we barely know! Next year I'm going on strike and I'm telling the family that we are skipping Christmas so that we can go to Disney for the Holidays.

Anyway, I think I might feel better if I can have one of those stockings shipped to my house. Does anyone know what number I can call to order one?

Thanks,
Jana

I want to look in to that too! Also the trees you can have in your rooms? I am going to try to call tomorrow to investigate this and I will be back to post. Hopefully someone else will have info before that! ;)

I think it's the DISNEY florist that does all that.

Do you think they can ship one of those cute gingerbread houses like the one at GF?

They said on the show that they will not ship the Gingerbread houses. I was thinking about polling to see if anyone who lives near me is planning to go. I would pay someone to bring one back to me!

They didn't say as they make them special for each person based on the different things. They did say that the houses did not ship and that they were $25 a piece and packed to travel, though you would have to hold it not pack it.

They also seem to sell just the shingles at the Grand Floridian, which I plan to get when we go there for dinner

Sounds like the Disney movie "The Kranks" from last year :rotfl:

Anyway, I really enjoyed the show, I even recorded it on DVD. This will be our first Christmas at WDW and I made all of my kids and my wife watch it to help get them in the mood, not that they already weren't.

What is the cost of the stockings?

They didn't say how much the stocking cost, probably because that may vary depending upon the items that you put into it. I would have to rewatch it, but it sounded like these were made to order for pick up, or even delivery to your resort.

I did a search of old threads and it seems the stockings last year were listed at $49.99 and available from the Disney Florist. However, I don't see them listed on the website, but it might still be a bit early.

I called this morning because i liked the stocking idea because we'll be there X-mas day. Stockings are $50 and they have princess, mickey, and minnie stocking. X-mas trees are $250. Pricey in my opinion. May have kids just pick something out at DD.

Personally for that price I think that you could pick up a stocking at Target or somewhere and make your own. You see Princess stockings and Mickey candies just about everywhere now and it looked like the stockings had "small" stuff in it anyway.

I just called the Disney Florist (407-827-3505) and placed an order for a stocking! A ton of people have called already this morning as a result of the Food Network show! So here is the scoop: They have three styles

1. Santa Mickey holding a stocking
2. Sorcerrer Mickey holding his hat
3. Princess stocking

They stuff them full of goodies and they are $50 each. After shipping my total was around $62. Pricey? Yes but, I think it's much cheaper than convincing my husband that we have to go to Disney NOW! If you haven't seen the Food Network show I highly recommend catching it the next time that it is on. Check out this website for more information:

Wishing you all a Very Magical Christmas!

Both of those are way too pricey for me. When we go I or should I say Mickey leaves the boys a goodie bag the first night we are there. It usually has a stuffed animal and other Mickey/friends things that I have collected prior to the trip, this time it will also include the golden ears. I do think you can make things just as nice but cheaper, imo. Though it would be nice to splurge!
