I just returned from a trip to Paris which of course included a couple of days at Disneyland Resort Paris. I visited the new Disney Studios Paris park. I went knowing from these boards and other boards that the park was an underwhelming experience.
However, I had already visited DCA so I thought I new what to expect. Still, nothing could prepare me for the minimalist attractions and themeing I found at Disney Studios Paris. I did not even stay the full day there. I was bored. How they could put the name "Walt Disney" on a park that does not come close or even try emulate the entertainment ideals he stood for truly astounded me.
DCA is a half baked park. Still there are areas at the park that have atmosphere I enjoy. This new Paris park needs so much work to even attain DCA's level that it would probably be cheaper to bulldoze it and start from scratch.
Disneyland Paris Park is still beautiful and considering the money woes of Disney Paris for the last ten years looked to be in pretty good shape.
Anybody else fly to Paris? What are your thoughts..........
