We are planning on renting the 2 child stroller from Disney everyday for my ds 2.5 and dd 5.5. My ds is very active. I was wondering if the Disney strollers had seat belts to keep the kids in the stroller? I am worried about him getting out and running after characters, balloons, well everything.

They have seat belts, but my kids could both undo the seat belts by 2.5.

We thought this a benefit, the strollers sit low and the kids could get in and out of them by themselves and buckle and unbuckle themselves. For you, it may not be such a benefit.

I didn't see kids jumping in and out of them. I think the crowds are a bit intimidating and the kids just stay in them. Plus monkey see monkey do. If they see all the other kids sitting in them, they may as well.

is that I too have a 5 1/2 year old and a 2 1/2 year old boys. For MK I was thinking of bringing my stroller for the 2 year old (since he is used to it adn can have a nice nap in it) but I want to get a stroller for the 5 year old in case he gets tired. I wonder if it is worth renting a double stroller. Are they hard to manouver and push around or do you think I should stick with 2 separate ones?
Thanks

They are amazingly easy to push and maneuver. We were impressed with just how easy they were to manage. The wheels are gigantic, but not bulky, so the ride is always smooth for the kids and the push is not a chore for the adults. Even going uphill was not a big deal.

We rented a double stroller for our trip in May, and we had our 27-pound 3-year-old and our 36-pound 5-year-old in it. Even though we were pushing around more than 60 pounds of children, it was still a breeze, IMO. The strollers were designed very well, I think.

Also, re: kids jumping out -- my 3-year-old is very active too, and the only time we had issues with her trying to jump out of the stroller was when we were parking and she knew we were stopping and would try to get out before the stroller was completely stopped. She did fall once because of that, but we talked to her about staying put until we told her to get out, and she learned her lesson. Besides that, she never tried to leave the thing; it was much too comfy!
