Disney Store trolley cases

DS has a Disney Cars trolley case from the Disney store, can we take this as hand luggage? The size is approx 45x31cm!

DD took her Winnie the Pooh one on as hand luggage with Virgin with No problems this August. Sorry I don't know the size but it was bought from the Disney shop a few years ago
