disney store trading night- tues?

I saw a post on Dizpins board about a tues night meeting at the Disney Store for Pin trading. They said every tues at 7pm. Can anyone confirm?

Most Disney Stores have pin trading on Tuesday nights... I would call my local one to check first though...

Most of the stores have it, but there are few collectors that go. From what I've been told, most show up, trade with a CM, and leave. They don't wait to see if anyone else comes around. The few times I've made it out, I've found this to be the case too.

Not all DS have pin trading. Orland Park IL does not however at Chicag Ridge Mall we meet the first Tuesday of the month. Call several local DS.

The store in North Olmsted Ohio... outside of Cleveland has pin trading every Tuesday. There are a core of us that are there. We have not traded with the CM in a LONNGGGG time as the only thing on there is what we put there.

I think we are the only one in the area that does Tuesday night pin trading. But I would check with your store.

Tuesday nights is getting addictive at teh TDS near me! Last week we didn't get home until 1 a.m.! Ok, so some of us went out after the store closed . At least tonight we were home about 9:30 p.m. - would have been earlier, but who wants to leave the mall if it is thundering & lightening?

I was in my glory tonight! A friend sent me a GREAT package with Star Spangled Event pins, so I took the pins to show them off !

I went to my closest DS and the manager said that they do meet every Tues night. She also said that very few have shown interest in trading recently, so the staff isn't wearing thier lanyards for a few months. She said to check in periodically.

Oh, when one goes to these meetings, is it ok to bring pins that you're not interested in trading, but want to show off? I noticed what JudithM has said about her Star Spangled pins.

The DS in Salem, NH has about 12 people that get together every Tuesday night for trading. We're still hoping for anyone else in the area that may be interested.

You should all read the post on Dizpins about the traders who were thrown out of a DS on Tuesday night for trading among themselves!
Me thinkiths someone at Disney is going to get an earful!

I read that thread on DIZPINS - how awful for those guests. No guest should be treated as they described.

The cash wrap/register area at the store where I visit is right in the middle of the store. It forms a rectangle with an opening on one of the shorter sides. CMs use the two registers on one long side to ring up guests, & the pin traders get the other long side. My original store closed last winter & we've been going to this store ever since - very friendly CMs - they often join right in with our conversations. Any time a guest wants to buy a pin from another guest, they DO go outside the store. We followed that practice last fall while collecting the 100 Years of Dreams pins, too.
