Disney Store Shipping Time

So I ordered myself a cute new backpack from the Disney Store today. Problem is we leave for Orlando on Friday morning. I paid for 2 business day shipping but with today being Black Friday I'm a little concerned about order fulfillment backlog. What do you think my chances are of it arriving by Thursday evening?

You should be able to get it by next week Wednesday as long as you have them a physical mailing address and not a post office box.

I don't believe they count the day you order towards the shipping time.

I've never paid for expedited shipping, but I've found Disney Store to have the slowest shipping ever. Easily 10 days on most of the orders I've made. I can't remember of most of the time is in their preparation of order vs. actual shipping time.

I know you'd rather have the backpack but if it doesn't arrive by Tues (Wed?), whenever it was guaranteed to, at least call to get your shipping $ refunded. You paid for 2 business days, Black Fri backlog or not. But I hope you get it in time for your trip!!

Ditto! They are SLOW for normal shipping.

Both are slow! I just got a few things last week that took about 10 calendar days. I never got a shipping notice, and checking my order online showed it was "being processed." I finally got worried on Day 8 and did the online chat to ask about it. They were able to find my order, see it had actually been shipped, and give me a tracking number. It arrived two days later, but I never did get shipping notification. So, it might be worth doing the chat to check on it on Tuesday or so.

Side note: I ordered something else with the Shop Parks app, and it was a much faster turnaround time!

Yikes! It sounds like there is room for both hope and worry. I think I'll plan on cancelling the order if it hasn't shipped by Tuesday. And I will definitely request a shipping refund if it doesn't show up by Thursday.

I really would like the backpack for the trip but it isn't a huge deal. I just really don't want the box sitting outside my front door for 10 days.

Did they send you a shipping confirmation yet? They seem on it this year, I placed an order yesterday early afternoon around 2 EST with the free shipping and it shipped by 7 pm EST.

It did! Currently marked as in transit to the UPS facility in Memphis. No scheduled delivery yet but it says the rate is Next Day Air Saver so I suspect it will show up tomorrow afternoon or Tuesday! Yay!!!!

Well, as has been the case since Saturday afternoon, the package is still marked at in transit to UPS. Seems like they've done a great job of getting packages onto the trailer but not such a great job of driving the trailer to UPS. Hopefully I will really ship today!

Backpack arrived this afternoon! So kudos to the DisneyStore and UPS.

Of course it turns out that I find the straps hideously uncomfortable so it has to go back. But it arrived!
