Disney Store Question about price drop & refunds

I just bought costumes 3 days ago....I think they are already on sale...Would be a difference of $30.00 if I would have waited to buy them now

Does anyone know if they offer credits/refunds in the event something like this happens?

I don't want to go in and ask and be embarassed and cheap if they don't have such a policy ... they know me pretty well there, if I come in without kids...they always comment on it...

Would be great to get the $$$ back or even a store credit

Check your receipt, but if memory serves when I worked there, there is a no price adjustment policy on Halloween. No returns after Oct 30 or 60 days, whichever comes first. Double check the back of your receipt. They are very firm on that policy. All Halloween sales AFTER Halloween are final sales.

ETA...I meant no returns after Oct 31....don't worry, they didn't change the date of Halloween this year.

When I asked at my local DS, they told me they cannot price adjust, but, if they still had the size I already had purchused, I could return the one I had and get the other one off the sales floor. I originally asked because the day after I bought DD's Belle costume, I got the 15% off coupon in the mail.

Your both right....no price adjustment on Halloween costumes

otherwise they have a 7 day price adjustment policy with receipt

Oh well...at least I have them in the right sizes...

For normal purchases, they will price adjust within 7 days of purchase if the item goes on sale for a lower price. Coupons, however, are not considered a "sale price" and they can't be used on a prior purchase. But yes, if they have what you want on the sales floor, you can buy and return what you already bought.

Word of caution though....for Halloween returns, ALL tags must still be attached to the item. If you bought items that came on a card (ie, crown), they must still be attached to the card. Wigs must be originally sealed. Etc.

I think they adjust prices within 7 days, if it drops as a sale price.
The coupon thing a PP said makes sense...it isn't a sale price, so they couldn't adjust..for a thing like that have a family member or friend behind you buy right after you return it, lol!!

Our disney store doesn't have the costumes on sale yet...it should be company wide. however, the disney store costumes online ARE on sale. there are price adjustments allowed on costumes within 7 days with receipt(cast members are excluded) if they go on sale, but not with a coupon. you could order the sale one online and then return yours to the store- i think shipping is free on costumes right now.
