Disney Store Pins

Are all of those Disney store pins from a few years ago still good to trade with castmembers? I read something somewhere else earlier today that has me worried. Something about the castmembers not trading for 2000 celebration pins.

The DS pins should be fine.
The 2000 celebration pins you may have read about were probably referring the the black background pin with dancers. Which is probably on every cast lanyard. I don't know how many of those pins were produced, but it was way more than anyone cared to see. I think they could have distributed one to every Ameican household in 2000 and still had some left over.

Kind of funny, since if I recall, they gave those dancer pins away. They were part of a package offered back in 2000. My package didn't include a pin and I traded to get a couple myself.

On the other hand, my package did include an inlaid wooden box with a crystal block inside.

When we were in WDW last Christmas the whole family played a game of "Hunt the Cast Member Lanyard WITHOUT the 2000 Pin". Needless to say we didn't find many!

Please note that there are 2 styles of this pin - one that is completly retangular and one that has a curvy bottom. Two styles = twice as many pins!
