Disney Store in DTD

Does anyone know if they are having the same kind of sale that all the other disney stores are having? I am leaving for vacation friday! Yeah!! I would like to get some good buys there, since my store closed a while back.

I didn't know there was a DS at DTD. I know the have World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy.

There is no "The Disney Store" on Disney property, DTD or otherwise. "Disney Stores" (the ones found in the malls) are a separate business entity from the theme parks, even carrying different merchandise. You could however take a trip over to one of the malls that has a TDS. Another option might be to go to one of the outlet malls, that has discounted Disney merch from the parks. I believe there are 2 near disney, but you will need a car or to take a cab.

You could also try disneystore.com I believe they are also having some good sales. Alternatively, you could choose your items on disneystore.com and then call a Disney Store, and have the items shipped. For example, if disneystore.com has a snowglobe for $49.99 and the disney store has it for $29 you could call a store and have it sent.

Actually I meant the World of Disney, but I thought it was the same as the disney stores. Thanks for clearing that up. I can't wait to go. Yes I will go to the Christmas store, I have been there several times and want everything they have!

Unfortunetly, no...it is not like the actual Disney Store. The World of Disney rarely has big sales like that, if any.

When I was at World of Disney last month I asked the CM if they ever have sales or put items on clearance- she said once in a blue moon they will mark something down just to get it off the shelf but there would have to be only 5 or under quanity of that item. When they have more than 5 of any item that they want to move they send it to the Character Premier shops or warehouses.
