Disney Store Holiday Promotion!

We did Elsies today! We only had a certificate but loved it they all made such a fuss of her in the store! Talking to her about seeing mickey! x

I bet the video is brilliant too! It was just amazin they came over to her and showed her the certificate and not that she knew what was happening but she was smiling away! We didnt get a badge though wish I had asked for one now! x

It was the start of the sale today (you may have noticed the chaos! haha) so it was probably too hectic to run the full event unfortunately - not that that is any excuse but I know we would have struggled logistically to have enough cast to cover all bases today (Mickey needs a little hidden helper for it to run smoothly.) Glad she loved it though

I'll PM my store just because you never know who's watching I'll just say its a city centre store not in a shopping mall (not many of those left! haha)

on the same vien.....when we went early to the Glasgow store they picked my son to OPEN the store...was all magical etc (they do it EVERY morning, so take it all stores do it???)...he got a HUGE key to open the lock..the CM walked down the path towards Joshua holding the key above her head...then he opened it and the lights and sparkles went on....they made such a fuss of him and gave him a little version of the key to keep (to unlock his disney imagination)..its got the disney castle on it...THEN they found it was his birthday and gave him a birthday card and a badge and put the big screen on for him and it was mickey singing happy birthday with his name on it.....omg I near cried, all the staff were clapping to it.....we were so lucky as we got lost and landed in a different car park, hence why we were there so early!!!!haha!..oh and another CM took my kids away to shout for tinkerbell and they had to find her in the store...she was all sparkly too..10/10 for the GLASGOW STORE!!!!!!

Eventually all stores are going over to this design At the moment it is only the Imagination stores that do the opening ceremonies, HOWEVER all stores are going to be starting this soon, with your child stepping into the shoes of the Sorcerors Apprentice and helping us start the magic
Like I've previously said, a lot of really fun things are going to be starting soon so keep your eyes peeled!

I couldn't believe the way we were treated...I walked around with my mouth open trying to text family!Lol no joke I was stunned!!!!!...LOVED IT!!!! haha! So is the holiday promotion defo done now?

Apparently so, well after tomorrow anyway. Such a shame, I love doing them! You never know, if enough people get in touch with our Head Office and tell them that they enjoyed it they might make it a permenant thing - I can't see any reason that it has to stop really!
It might carry on in the Imagination Stores, as my store hasn't been refitted yet I'm not sure of the current events that they run, but they do differ to us regular stores!

There is an awesome sale on too - bought her a Tiana brush and hair bobble set and had to walk out before I spent every penny I had!

Hi I'm new to the forum but was very intrested in this promotion as we have just booked to go to dlp and thought my 4 year old would love this, I rang my local store and yes they are doing it but because of the sale in store he can't gaurantee it I have to ring back in the morning just afer to 9 to see how busy they are.

The best time is to just go in either first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening. I'd aim to get there for 9.15 or 9.30 at the latest Hope you love it!

Hi just to let you know I took my 4 year old to our local disney store yesterday morning and they it for him! He was over the moon and very pleased. Thank you for letting us know.
