Disney Store Gift Cards

My DF and I got Disney Gift Cards for Christmas - to buy Disney Dollars for our trip. My question is does anyone know if Disney Store Gift cards could be used in Disney World?

No they can't, I asked. My DD's got them for Christmas, too. Our trip was 1/13. They ended up getting a couple of t-shirts to take with them, because they were out of Disney dollars until April.

You can't use Disney store gift cards at WDW and far as I know you can't use GC to buy disney dollars.

Yes, you can use them to buy Disney Dollars at the Disney Store. You cannot use a "store credit" card to buy them but a regualr gift card can be used.

Now my question is does anybody know if you can use them at the Disney Store in the Orlando airport?

I went to the Disneystore yesterday - you can indeed use Gift cards for Disney Dollars.

Disney Dollars are expected in on May 5th....lets hope they are
