Disney Store Gift Cards

Just got back from TDS. Got $10.00 gift card, and a "Country Bear" movie ticket for $50.00 purchase. My question. Can a Disney Store gift card be used at WDW for food, gifts, etc... or is it TDS only?

I would love to hear the answer to that question. Can I use the $10 gift card toward an annual pass purchase from TDS?

You will probably get yes and no answers to that question, but I believe its a yes. I called 3 stores before I bought my gift cards of the internet(it a points thing) to use to purchase 3 APs, All said "yes". Then I went and ordered them again no problem, but you pay when you pick them up(about 1 month later), and finally when I picked them up I paid with the GCs with no problem. And I paid the entire balance with GCs (over $1000)

Do you know off hand what programs offer points for buying the gift cards? I thought I had read somewhere that the gift cards didn't count for points.

We just cashed in a $25 gift card we got for doing a test drive and the Disney Store for Disney Dollars. These can be used anywhere on property for food or fun. By the way, they are 100 yr commemorative Disney dollars. We plan to use them to pay for part of our Ohana's meal.

For the Mazda test drive. But I am not very close to a Disney Store, Is there somewhere that I can spend this a WDW. We will be there in Oct.

You may use your Disney Store gift card at TDS, and perhaps online and the catalog.

WDW is a different entity as far as merchandise is concerned, and does not accept TDS gift cards. Sorry. Usually in those promotions, they are hoping you will use your gift card to purchase more from their store. Only logical!
