Disney Store Employee Question

Do they get the perks such as free or discounted park tickets also???

Not anymore. Around Thanksgiving time, The Disney Stores were sold to The Children's place. At that time, they also lost all Disney related benefits. The only thing they do get is a 30 percent discount at their stores and the children's place. I just went for an interview at The Disney Store and found all of this out.

My friend works at the Disney Store here in the UK and she just got a discount on her park tickets! She left yesterday! Maybe its different over here

I know over here that all the american stores are no longer owned by the Disney corporation so their discount is gone.

The Disney Stores in the UK are still owned by the Walt Disney Company.

That's not entirely factual...

But in either case, CM's are not encouraged to discuss job related benefits as I'm sure we are not privey to all benefits of any other particular job.
We have been treated fairly and I suppose it is all in perspective on how you view it!
