I just called the local store here. I looked on the website and on the banner it says "online preview" and "new savings start now". The guy I talked to in the store says that in-store sales generally start on Tuesdays, and that they don't often find out about them until the morning of when the store gets an email to print out and put up signs. It's the time of year when everyone starts to think more seriously about halloween- we can see it on the calendar now. My guess is that they want to work it so that folks at home over the weekend who are browsing can get the sale for immediate gratification rather than going with
amazon or a competitor for a lower price. But they'll wait until after the weekend so that those folks that go shopping in person with a little girls who "likes it, loves it, has to have it (right now!)" will still pay full price in store (and be grateful that the shopping is done well in advance. My plan is to go tonight and buy Jasmine. That is one of the sale ones released earlier, online and in store. We're going to WDW in November and I like that DD will be able to wear that one all day, with leggings underneath if need be, and still have full range of motion. So I'll have tha one, and let dd try it on for size and for DH review (too much midriff baring would be a no go.) If she loves it, great, done. If not, then by next week when I'd go to return it, maybe the others will be on sale in store as well. So if you can hold out a few days, see if the store CM is right and the store will catch up by tuesday. that's my best advice if you've got something specific picked out. Or, if you're worried about size/ availability- buy it now in store , set it aside, and take it back next week for a price adjustment? Stacey
