Disney Stock

Hi there DISers, I know you can buy Disney stock online at various sites,but is there anywhere in WDW you can buy it? Just curious.

I do not believe Disney stock can be purchased anywhere inside the parks. You'll have to do it through a stock broker or online. Hope that helped!

I purchase my Disney stock through Share Builder. I set it up as a dividend reinvestment, so any dividends issued are used to purchase more stock. The fees are reasonable and I can invest as little or as much as I want (no I don't work for Share Builder! LOL ) I have been doing this for about 4 years and I have done well (adding about 30% to my portfolio). Strangely enough I started buying Disney after my first visit in 2003. I was so impressed with the operation and how much money was flowing, I figured Disney was probably a good investment!

just FYI-

if you are interested in investing in disney stock only, they do have a direct stock purchase plan/DRIP with reasonable minimums to start ($1000 or $100/month automatic deduction) and fairly low fees (check the prospectus.)
