Did any passholders do this in March? I’m gonna be there for the April date but I haven’t heard anything about it yet.

Never heard of this. What would be the "unexpected surprises"?

The only draw of this imo is some sort of unexpected surprise. I don't see the point in registering to shop 1 hour early in stores when you can easily shop just as easily at 10 or 11am

Article just says usual passholder discount. Unless maybe "unexpected surprises" could mean extra.

I read somewhere that the “surprises” are food and beverage samples, sneak peek at new merchandise, sometimes guest speakers. Not sure if this is accurate but I read it on some Disney blog.

Last month the dancers from Raglan Road were the surprise entertainment.

I know last month required advance booking but since now it doesn’t, I imagine it’s going to be crazy crowded. Trying to determine if it’s worth it to go
