I’m pretty sure the rideshare drivers are aware of the policy and might not want to jeopardize their ability to drop off at WDW by allowing their riders to do that. I also suspect the guard could call Security and have them intercept the guests.Couldn’t you still do that now when the guard denies entry to the car? They have to pull through in order to exit the lot and get back to World Drive.
The real question is, why would you want to jeopardize your safety, just to save a few minutes’ walking time? ETA - just realized this could be misinterpreted - should have said “someone” and “their” instead of “you.” Meant a generic “you.”
