Thinking of checking out Disney Springs area resorts.
Possibility Renaissance.

Any thoughts reviews recommendations or comments??

A family friend stayed at the Drury and enjoyed it. Free breakfast buffet and evening snacks and drinks. The transportation to the parks was okay (and free, I believe), although they had a car and there is a parking fee.

It is so newly a Renaissance (still B Resort on Disney website) that we haven't seen any reviews.

Really depends on what you are looking for and if you have any brand preference.

I did not know B resort and Renaissance were the same
The B Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida was rebranded as the Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa in 2024 as part of Marriott's Renaissance Hotels brand. The hotel is located at 1905 Hotel Plaza Boulevard.

We stayed at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista a few years back and really enjoyed it. We stayed in the main tower rooms and not in the garden part. We couldn't fault the hotel one bit. And it's the closest hotel to Disney Springs I believe. A 10 minute walk over the footbridge and you're in.
The character breakfast they do a few days a week is also amazing.

Check out the Drury Plaza at Disney Springs, newly refurbished, new extension, free breakfast and 5-30 kickback.👌

You sure they still do Character breakfasts there?

We love the Drury for our quick stays free Breakfast Free kickback includes 3 adult drinks & shuttle service. You get early entry and available to book the Multipass & LL 3 days before which we just did and will do again in 2 weeks

I stayed at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace, and it was a solid Hilton. They have a large pool, arcade, quick service restaurant, and breakfast buffet that wasn't too expensive. They also have bus transportation every hour, including busses early enough to rope drop early entry. If you like Hiltons or have status, I would definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately there is no character breakfast there anymore. We stayed there twice, can't beat the location, decent price, small but adequate and clean rooms, nice lobby, the only complaint we had was the time we checked in in the afternoon, we got stuck at the desk where they tried to get us to sign up for a timeshare tour. The Hilton was also ok, great location. Our favorite DS hotel is the Drury when we have a car. It is a bit far from Disney Springs and the Mears bus to the airport doesn't go there, so if we fly we usually choose Wyndham Garden. But we love the included breakfast and evening kickback at the Drury.

Just returned from a stay at the Beach Club and we are getting priced out of there! We are thinking of the Drury for our next trip. How were the shuttles? Since Drury can't drop off at Magic Kingdom, I was thinking about a taxi /uber to the Contemporary and then walking to Magic Kingdom. Can this be done or will they not allow a taxi/uber to drop off at Contemporary (unless you have a dining reservation?) Also, did you still get decent multipasses since you could only book 3 days out vs 7 days out?
TIA

Sorry, they won’t allow rideshare dropoffs at CR without a reservation of some kind. In the past, too many guests tried to jump out of the car at the guard gate and cut across the BLT parking lot to the MK walkway, rather than riding all the way to the entrance of CR. It wasn’t safe. Rideshare dropoff for MK is at TTC.

Couldn’t you still do that now when the guard denies entry to the car? They have to pull through in order to exit the lot and get back to World Drive.

The bus shuttles were great they give you the times of pickup from hotel & parks. They had a Disney Shuttle when we went in June and have it listed on current bus shuttles on the Drury Disney Springs website. so, unless changed I go in a week I can check. I get to book my multipass on 9-4 so I will let you know how we fair.
