Disney Springs resort with ECV?

How much of a pain is it to use an ECV and get to the parks when staying at a Disney Springs resort? Specifically the Doubletree Suites?

Currently we are booked for the majority of our stay at the Dolphin. However, due to a few people maybe bowing out (and the reservation at the Dolphin being in their name) I now have a back up suite booked at the Doubletree Suites. If the rest of the group backs out it will be me, my adult nephew, and a friend of his. I would be fine sharing a room with my nephew (we do so fairly often) but not sure his friend would be on board with doing so. Hence the suite.

Is using an ECV from a Disney Springs resort going to be a giant problem? So much so that I should think of renting an ECV from each park instead?

I could put together a stay at 1 room at a value resort (2 nights at Movies, 3 nights at Pop) but I know it will be a little tight. It would be better for transportation though, I'm thinking.

Any advice??????????????

@maxiesmom sorry to hear about the dwindeling group. Any chance the reservation at the Dolphin could be transferred to you? Assuming that you'd even want that?

I don't know. The problem I see is that it was a 2 room reservation, and we had a discount that way.
