I have a few questions about spending some time at Disney Springs:

1. We're staying at All Star Movies. Is there a bus directly there? How long does it take?
2. The hot air balloon ride - how long does it last and how much does it cost?
3. How much does bowling cost?
4. Any other fun things to do with kids ages 12 & 9 (preferably free/cheap?)

Depending on preference you have The Void vr experience and NBA experience is opening in August

Another fun thing although at a cost is the Void VR experience either Star Wars or Wreck it Ralph. It’s a really cool experience.

Oh wow. They would love that. Where do I find info? Dare I ask how much $$$ though?

I Googled “The Void Disney Springs” and was able to find pricing info.

I can find it. But the webpages aren't working on my phone, so when I click on the drop down to go to pricing, it won't work.

I didn't realize it was such a big problem to ask a question.

Not sure where this comment came from? No one here is telling you that.

The 30-minute experience will be priced at $29.95, and tickets for both locations are currently available for purchase on The Void's website. The Void has become known for what it calls “hyper-reality” experiences.

HOW TO BUY TICKETS
Pricing:

General Admission (Age 10+) for Star WarsTM: Secrets of the Empire:

Monday – Thursday: $29.95 per person
Friday – Sunday, Holidays, and Holiday Weeks: $32.95 per person

"I Googled “The Void Disney Springs” and was able to find pricing info."
"Google is your friend when looking for info"

Seems to insinuate that I should just use Google.

Thank you for the info.

Oh please....don't let that comment bother you. My husband tells me that on the regular. :rolleyes1 And you are quite welcome! I found everything on my desktop. I know that sometimes on my phone, if I don't use the option use desktop site, I have trouble finding certain things mobile.

Oh, I never even thought to look for that! Yes, many websites do offer that "desktop" version. We were away for the day and all I had was my finicky phone while I was trying to finalize some plans!

If you're interested in Characters in Flight, you can get a Groupon for about 1/2 off. It has to be used before 6pm though.

You said you couldn't find the info. I was telling you how to find the info.

Teach a man to fish, and all that...

I'm familiar with how to use Google, and used it before I came here. Had I had success, this post wouldn't have existed ;)

It's kind of like when I go fishing and don't have any luck, I have then go elsewhere if I want my big juicy trout lol.

Not exactly sure how much it matters seeing as though the balloon is tethered, but most of those “pilots” are not licensed balloon pilots.
I’m sure they are well trained for what they do, but I’d still rather have an FAA LTA certificated pilot.

As mentioned, there is a groupon for the balloon flight. The balloon is much better at night with light on in DS and the resorts. It is also a very short ride. But for about the same price, you can do a helicopter ride, which IMO is a better experience. But you have to be able to get over to 192, and flying over Disney proper costs more of course.
