Disney Springs openings on May 15th

I have only been to DS once since all the construction began. I'm really due for a trip back!

Didn't some of the new food kiosks that are not in the new section also open up this weekend? There is so many springs dates it's starting to be interesting to keep track of them...

Yes, it's the 2nd largest on property after MK, and the only one other than MK that can load articulated buses. There are also dedicated bus lanes with separate signals from Bonnet Creek Pkwy to the depot.

Last I heard before I retired last week, though, was that it would not open until the end of the month, as they needed to train all the drivers (about 1,500 of 'em) and get the operational procedures worked out. So either the opening has been moved up, or there's a communications break down (wouldn't be the first, by any means.)

I don't see anything that says the bus stops are opening the 15th, but previous announcements has been that things will start to open on the 15th so I'm not expecting them. I would be surprised if it gets into june and they aren't operational they did look almost done last week.

I found the official blog, it was he Daily Poutine and B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. on the 15th and aristrocrepes on the 22nd so my bad, nothing opening before the 15th (not counting limited soft opening time the days prior)

Bus stop opens on the 15th. That was told to CMs and others who were given a preview of town center yesterday.

We were there on Thursday night at the movies and things are really coming along nicely there. Looking forward to when it's 100% completed. Such a difference than the old DTD.

Here now, the new food kiosks are not open, the second parking garage seems to be ready (a lot of barricades around so it's hard to see) but it already had the exterior planters with plants.
The bus loop looks almost done, a lot of construction workers there now.

The new Lime Garage along with a bus only lane will open will be operational this Sunday

We are going to the Springs either the 18th or 19th. Is it better to drive or take the bus from ASMo?

My wife and I are not in the media and we are going tonight as we were told we could by higher up CM's on Monday evening when we were hanging out at Paradiso 37. They may have added us to a list, etc. (since they asked for our names) still, we are going tonight.

However, I do understand what you are saying and thought the same thing as well when I saw them post it

Does anyone know if any of these new venues will be included as QS or snack credits on the DDP when they open this next week?
