Disney Springs on a Saturday evening?

I'm trying to figure out where we will go on each day of our short 4 day trip over Veteran's Day weekend. We love Disney Springs, but it only works if we go on a Saturday evening. Our group is adults and an older teen, so no little ones. Can anyone tell me what to expect crowd wise?

I won't lie to you, the crowds are going to be a little rough, especially around the Town Center and Marketplace. I made the mistake of visiting Disney Springs over Veteran's Day weekend this year and couldn't move :scared:. If you wanted to do Disney Springs that Saturday, I would say it'd be a good time to do something like La Nouba, or the AMC Dine-in Theatre, or make an ADR to a restaurant you've been wanting to try. Veterans Day Weekend is a weekend where a lot of people decide to visit the Springs (and parks in general!) spur-of-the-moment. Walking up to places in DS is going to be a nightmare, but having an ADR/reservation for some type of activity would work out in your favor. Have fun!

I have to agree. We were there on a Saturday night and it was packed. We even had reservations, and we were seated about an hour past our reservation time.

And it wasn't a holiday weekend. It was a really slow time.

Thanks for your replies! Do you think Friday evening is any better, or are weekend nights in general super crowded?

Friday's can be better but frankly, lots of us locals hang out at DS Friday & Saturdays. So you have the vacation crowd and the local crowd mixing in. You're going to hit crowds regardless of the night. My suggestion would be early is better & eating off times is better.

I went last October on a Saturday night. When we walked into Raglan Road for our 6:15 pm reservation, DS was starting to get crowded but it was still totally manageable. When we walked out at 7:30, it was into wall-to-wall people. I second a previous poster's suggestion to go earlier in the day if you can. I'm in your same situation...we're going to be five adults (ages 22, 23, 29, 30, and 35) over Veterans Day weekend and are going to bite the bullet and go to DS on Friday night, regardless of the crowds.
