I hope I put this in the right spot and that someone can help. Is there only one bus stop at Disney Springs or is there a bus stop also by the La Nouba building? Just wondering I am going to be going with my dad who has trouble walking. He is meeting me for lunch for the day and I was trying to find a restaurant close to the bus stop as we will be taking Disney transport to get there, so he doesn't have to walk far. Thanks! It's been a couple years since I went to Disney Springs/Downtown Disney.

The West Side stop is gone...the only spot is the Marketplace now.

There's only one bus stop and that's Marketplace. Closest restaurants would be Rainforest Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Express, and Earl of Sandwich.

I kind of thought there was only one stop. A restaurant of interest is raglan road, I see that we could cross the bridge to get there. Is there anywhere to stop and rest, like a bench, on the bridge? Or if we took the other route, by the world of Disney, are there any decent rest stops?

From the bus stop, you can walk to the boat transport area to take the boat to the West Side. That will save a lot of walking for your father.

Thanks, I didn't know a boat shuttled across. I will let my dad know and let him have the final choice.

The quickest way to Raglan Road would be across the bridge to the Landing, just walk straight past Rainforest and the bridge is there. There are benches in areas before and after the bridge so your dad can rest.

My biggest complaint is not the walking but the return trips. Those bus lines are CRAZY! We aren't using the buses to DS again.

ETA - Just read a blog post that the new bus stops should open in April. I sure hope so

The question here is not so much more stops but rather the need for much more service.

To some degree yes. But the way they have the stops stacked is really confusing and there isn't enough room for even a small line. Having a 2nd set of stops will ease that bottleneck.

Last I heard, the new bus depot near PH will be the only one; the MP bus depot will be deactivated.

But the new depot will be much more spacious, with enough spaces for each resort to have it's own, and adequate room for queuing.

Also, when the road construction is finished, there will be dedicated bus lanes and dedicated bus traffic signals, to allow the buses to enter and exit smoothly and efficiently.

I thought I had heard there was going to be only one bus stop but then I doubted myself and thought maybe I was confused and there was only 1 stop while they were constructing the other.
But yes, a larger stop with separate loading queues will ease the issues with the current one
