Disney Springs Boats

Last week, just as part of my one-day excursion to DS from Universal, I took the boat out to Old Key West. First time I'd been there, and I definitely got a pic of that chess set in the lobby which was very nice.

I noticed that the old DS boat route between Marketplace and West Side is still gone. Seems like it's been gone for years--is it fair to say that this is never coming back? I remember it from a long time ago and it was a fun and helpful option for getting around DS.

I’ve learned to “never say never” with regard to Disney! But since they’d probably want to implement security screening there just like at the other dock and entrances to DS, I’d say it’s unlikely.
