Disney Springs at night - atmosphere?

What's the vibe like at night?

Does the crowd skew local, younger, more boisterous?
More touristy/vacation relaxed?
All ages?

I guess like a fun outdoor festival feel or a pick up bar type feel? Do people get obnoxiously drunk, or just a random few?

I can't think of anything to compare it to. I've never been to Universal - Citywalk.

Not a "bar feel."

Touristy...families... lots of "people watching"...not a bar scene to me ..

They abandoned the "wide open bar" situation when they closed and disassembled "Pleasure Island."
That "feel" is long gone at DS.

I can't think of anything to compare it to. I've never been to Universal - Citywalk.

I guess it could be a combination of all of the above. I have never experienced anything getting out of hand though, lots of family's with kids until late at night

I've never felt unsafe, when strolling at night with the fam....It's rather quite enjoyable..

It's definitely family friendly. I really love all the outdoor entertainment...just stroll by and stop to listen to whatever strikes your fancy...they have a lot of different styles and some really talented musicians.

Towards the older west side, I think they do the dance parties for the younger kids. To me, it feels a little more skewed to little kids and families on that side, over by rainforest cafe and the big disney merchandise stores and maybe more of a mixed crowd - couples and families on the newer side with all the newer restaurants and some of the bars.

But any feel of Pleasure Island or a nightclub/party atmosphere is long gone.
